Tenant Move Out & Vacate

HOW to Submit a 30-Day Notice

  • A 30-Day Notice to move out must be in the form of writing.

  • A verbal notice does NOT constitute a legal notice.

  • To obtain the form please email our office at jervispropertyservice@gmail.com or download the form in the link below.

    • IF you are unable to obtain the form, you may write it down on a piece of paper and submit it in the same methods as described below.

      • Paper must be signed and provided with a forwarding address.

  • You can give your 30 day notice anytime during the month but you must pay the rent amount covered by the notice.

    • For example, if you give your notice on the 10th, then you will still be responsible for payment until the 10th of the following month (whether you chose to stay for those 10 days or move earlier.)

  • NOTE: if keys have not been returned to our office or onsite managers, you are legally still in possession of the unit until we have received your keys.
